Dr. Mompremier has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Client Centered Therapy (CCT) approaches. Treatment is client focused and may incorporate multiple approaches for various client goals.

Her ideal client has experienced hardships and is interesting in assessing their strengths and working together towards healthy goals to manage depression, anxiety or any stress that might impede achieving a stability. Dr. Mompremier is best at providing clients a realistic view of their struggles, how these issues developed, what factors maintain these issues, and practical steps toward change. She assesses a client's worldview/spirituality/guiding principles to use these values as a tool to motivate and navigate clients towards their ideal self. Together, client and therapist, work to dispel shame and self-defeating thoughts/behaviors that are a barrier to change and create an unhealthy self-image. The approach is direct but loving and we find that clients appreciate the sincerity.
